Fort Myers Beach knows how to celebrate the 4th of July. There will be activities all day long, including a spectacular fireworks display taking place at the fishing pier. Pointe Estero Beach Resort will be the perfect place to celebrate America’s birthday!
Here is some important information including the schedule for the Fort Myers Beach bridge closing.
Fourth of July Parade
The parade will run down the strip between the Fort Myers Beach Public Library and Time Square. Please be aware the Matanzas Pass Bridge will be closed from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
We invite you to come in early and have breakfast at Chloes Restaurant, then walk outside to enjoy the parade as it rolls by right in front of DiamondHead!
Fort Myers Beach Fireworks
The fireworks will commence 15 minutes after dusk (sunset is at 8:24pm) from the pier. Please be aware the Matanzas Pass Bridge will be closed from 9:30pm-11:00pm.
Cabana’s Beach Bar & Grille is the perfect place to watch the fireworks display! Come enjoy a specialty drink or a late night treat, all with your toes right in the sand!
If you’re visiting us during the 4th of July, please take into account the two bridge closings that day and that traffic will be heavy. We are looking forward to seeing you!
