This 712-acre preserve is only a little over 2 miles from your accommodations at Pointe Estero Beach Resort and is accessible by strolling along the scenic boardwalk or cruising in by tram. You will be surrounded by gorgeous waters, soft sand, and plenty of space to bike, hike, and boat! Don’t forget your camera so you can snap plenty of family photos and maybe even capture some images of the many dolphins, manatees, and marsh rabbits that inhabit the area. Whether you’re taking a refreshing swim in the Gulf of Mexico or sauntering down the beach on a romantic walk, you will certainly enjoy Lovers Key State Park. The park is open from 8:00 a.m. until sundown all year-round and fees for entry are only $8 per vehicle with 2-8 occupants.
